Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Services (ARMHS)

ARMHS is a recovery based MA funded rehabilitative mental health program that provides support for individuals aged 18 years and older who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and associated complex needs. The program trains coaches using interactive, demonstrative and role play techniques to empower and assist clients to build and improve basic living and social skills (BLSS) while residing in the communities. ARMHS works with clients on a person centered treatment plan set within achievable standards and service is provided across a general demography of the population.

ARMHS can be provided to individuals in their homes, community, via Telehealth by Mental Health Practitioners (MHP) serving the population with compassion, inspiring hope, and teaching skills required to overcome their current situation.

ARMHS practitioners are skilled in instructing, assisting and supporting people with building and recovering capacities in the following areas:

  • Household management
  • Community resource utilization and integration
  • Crisis assistance
  • Relapse prevention
